Phase 5 is constantly on the lookout for highly talented individuals to join our dedicated workforce.

Qualifications and previous work experience are not essential for every role as we feel that hands on experiance, both personal and professional can sometimes be more valuable than formal qualifications.

However, a keen interest in all things IT related, and a true talent for such work is essential.

While we may not be currently in active recruitment for a specific post, we do expand our team from time to time and would like to invite applicants to submit their details to us to be put on file for consideration each time we do decide to recruit.

The main posts that we expect to be recruiting for in the future are:

IT Support Technician

Annual Salary: £11,000 to £15,000 plus bonus.   We are looking for candidates that are well presentable, clear spoken and highly resourceful to expand our primary support team. A keen interest and a very good working knowledge of IT systems is essential. Experience with Windows or Linux systems servers/workstations is also desirable. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VPN (IPSEC/PPTP), DSL, POP3/SMTP and similar technologies is also very desirable. A firm troubleshooting logic is essential. An understanding of networking concepts and paricularily an understanding of routed multi-subnet networking, classless inter domain routing (CIDR) and other similar concepts would also be of great interest to us.

PHP/Website Developers

Annual Salary: £11,000 to £15,000 plus bonus.   We are looking for candidates that are well presentable, clear spoken and highly resourceful to expand our primary development team. Advanced knowledge of PHP and MySQL as well as HTML, Javascript and CSS are essential. You must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and will also be required to liase with clients both over the telephone and in person to help nurtre a basic idea into a fully thought out solution and provide costing estimates and delivery timescales for clients. Knowledge of common related technologies such as GD Libraries, SOAP/WSDL, SSL along with some graphic design skills, knowlege of Dreamweaver and other design applications is also almost essential.
